The Operations Associate manages financial transactions, including donations, transfers, refunds, chargebacks, matching donations, and financial reporting. This role also supports the Program Associate team with administrative tasks related to chapter support, such as form submissions and vendor approvals. Success in this position requires meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of financial systems, and excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions. The Associate reports to the VP of Finance and the Program Associate Manager.
Qualifications:
● Strong proficiency in financial soware and tools, including QuickBooks and financial dashboards.
● Experience in managing financial records and reports with high accuracy.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
● Familiarity with policies related to donations, refunds, and matching contributions is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
● Ability to present and disseminate information in a clear and concise way. ● Strong English language skills, both written and oral. ● Ability to follow and implement Global Brigades guidelines and policies. ● Strong fluency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Meets, Google Slides).
