Who We Are:
Global Brigades is an international non-profit that empowers communities to meet their health and economic goals through university volunteers and local teams. We work alongside rural community members to achieve their core development goals through integrated health, water and sanitation, and economic development programs. Based on its Holistic Model, Global Brigades’ mission is to sustainably transition out of each community once it has met development objectives relying on both the strong buy-in of the community members and a dedicated in-country staff.

The Role:

The Program Advisor (PA) plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution and delivery of Global Medical Brigades’ in-person programming. As the key conduit between Success Advisor, Chapter Leaders, and in-country logistics teams, the PA ensures every brigade is logistically prepared, meets internal requirements, and provides an optimal experience for volunteers and partner communities.

This role focuses on brigade preparation and program execution, including ensuring that all chapters meet fundraising, recruitment, and documentation deadlines. The PA owns and enforces Global Medical Brigades’ policies to deliver consistent, high-quality programming.

The Program Advisor collaborates directly with the Success Advisor to provide timely program updates and ensure chapters meet logistics and compliance requirements, while the Success Advisor remains the primary point of contact with chapter leaders.

The PA reports directly to the International Program Advisor Manager.
